Not bad at all.

The reason I gave originality a low score is because you didn't write this song and aren't the first person to cover/remix it.

I like the melodies, but it feels like the song never really goes anywhere. I have problems with buildup and anticipation as well, and it just leaves the listener disappointed.

In my opinion, the lead should have been louder for a more dramatic effect, because that's where the real emotion is.

Overall a nice piece here, but with a little more work and change (dynamics, etc.), it could be awesome.

Dude. I was the person to make this song. My account was Chaoz-of-Yakuza, but I decided to make a new one in order to try out my new style of music. If it would prove it, I'll make a farewell song or something. A lot of people redid CFL and I just thought I should do a remix for my new account. Now then.

I suck with build-ups, i know, but at least I tried right!?

Well...I think you understand the songs emotion by telling me what to make louder, which mean, I pretty much made you feel what I felt, I hope.

Thanks for the review man.

Very nice.

I love the retro feel to it. Maybe your bass line could be a bit louder, or the main synth a little quieter. Also, that glitchy sounding synth was a little too loud for me (But that could be just me).

The slower, ambient part reminds me of the 90's haha - it's that voice! Really though, it sounds like something I might hear on late night radio (when they play the techno).

I absolutely LOVE the pads during the slower part.

Too bad you had to lower the quality to submit it because you can hear the difference. I hate that, they should have some leeway with the 4 Mb limit.

Great job 5/5 :D

Smad responds:

Thanks for the awesome review. Yeah I had to lower the bitrate to about 96 :\
It sounds way better in full quality, (email me at smad12@hotmail.com if you'd like the better version).
I'll work on the bass and synth, I have new program now so I'll try and fix it, and take the ambient part out just to see how it sounds, (plus shorter song= better quality) :D.

Woah.

Wow, that was awesome. I LOVE the sound. It's great. It was beautiful, I just got a few comments.

At the beginning (my favorite part), I just wish I wouldn't hear it go quiet at the parts where the warble stopped.

Also, I didn't really like the one drumroll. I felt it sounded too out of place and it didn't lead up to much anyway.

That's all I have to say. Otherwise, a grear piece here :)

Smad responds:

Ahh k, I hear what you mean, maybe I should have a little echoing there or something. Lol about that drumroll... I tried to use to introduce the bassline, so it wasn't so intrusive, maybe it was too loud and/or sharp...
Anyway, thankx for the review :D I'm gunna check out yours. :)

Very nice.

There is a definite style and sound to this song. I quite enjoyed it, but the piano just sounded a little too honky to me. People have different ideas of what a good piano sounds like anyway. I liked all the different sounds. Nice string work. Great when the drum beat comes in. Keep 'em coming.

nightvision responds:

Thanks alot for the quick review snayk. Agreed, it's a little to honky for my liking as well. But thats okay, I plan to get better all the time, and this includes the quality of mixing my sounds.I love it when the drums come in too (and when they cut out).

I am the video word made flesh.
